The Brent Cross Grotto was such a gorgeous surprise ✨

They take you through different themed rooms, each one beautifully done and so interactive for the kids they loved every step from completing their checklist, helping open the magic door, stamping and posting their letters to Santa and then finally meeting the main man in a cosy room with a fireplace.

Such a lovely festive day out - highly recommend for families this Christmas especially as you can do some shopping too! ❤️

Beautiful and welcoming. Only downside -you’re charged in the hotel’s conversion rate, and we were rushed a little on the walk to the room.

💎 Luxe Factor
Housekeeping was incredible - little gifts for the kids, cloud-soft slippers (everyone wore them!) and Bulgari toiletries.

🥂 Food & Drink
The buffet and 24/7 restaurant were fine. Smoking was noticeable outdoors.
The à la carte restaurants (extra) were lovely with generous portions and amazing service.

🌟 Highlights
Stunning pools, a gorgeous spa, modern rooms and really warm service. Sunset views were beautiful.

It’s a big resort - book restaurants early and take some time to get your bearings.

A room full of over 300 people… mostly incredible women, all there with one mission: to make a change 🫶🏻

The energy was unreal… watching so many being recognised with various awards and just pure cheers from everyone in the room. Hearing from the top leaders and income earners was so powerful, it certainly lit a fire in me all over again.

I started this journey for me, to be something more. But being surrounded by so many others chasing that same feeling of growth, freedom and purpose… it reminded me exactly why I started.

🦖✨Jurassic World at Battersea Power Station was a roar-some way to end half term!

You start the adventure by hopping on a ferry over to “Isla Nublar” - it feels so real, like you’ve stepped straight into the movie. From walking through the giant gates, stroking baby dinos, finding fossils to coming face to face with life-sized dinosaurs (and even dodging a T-Rex or two!) it was pure excitement from start to finish.

Afterwards, we headed inside Battersea Power Station for lunch, such a lovely spot with so many great places to eat and shops to explore. All four of them absolutely loved it - we definitely ended half term on a high 💚

Boat day magic from Ibiza to Formentera 🚤🌊✨

We set off in style from Marina Santa Eulalia for a 6-hour boat adventure and what a day it was!

About 45 mins in, we hit our first stop: crystal-clear water so stunning it didn’t feel real. And yes… I actually got in the water! It was shallow enough to stand, which made it way less scary 😂

Snorkelling and paddle boarding were all included with the boat and made for such a fun experience 🐠🛶

We made another dreamy swim stop before heading to Formentera, where a cute little boat picked us up and took us to shore. Lunch was divine, just 2 mins from the marina, we tucked into a delicious tapas-style meal Then wandered the shops, grabbed an ice cream and soaked up the island vibes before heading back.

One more peaceful stop on the way home (yes, more paddle board fun), where the sea was so still I actually fell asleep for two whole hours!! Woke up as we cruised back into Ibiza Marina… the perfect end to the perfect day.

If you’re ever in Ibiza, I highly recommend doing a boat day with a group of friends, it’s such a vibe and our captain was amazing too! 💙

💫 First Impressions
We’ve been back four years in a row, which probably says it all! Compared to the other Ikos resorts it’s smaller, but that’s actually a big positive as everything is close together so you can easily move around without feeling like you’re trekking miles.

💎 The Luxe Factor
It’s fully All Inclusive and they really mean all inclusive! The only extras are spa treatments & motorised water sports. Everything else like premium drinks, cocktails, wine and even meals at local off-site restaurants are included.

🥂 Upgrade Perks
If you upgrade to the Deluxe Area you get brilliant added value: a complimentary spa treatment per adult, access to a private Deluxe pool and beach area with upgraded service. little touches like champagne on arrival and a special à la carte dinner on the beach!

🌊 Highlights
The pools are spotless and plentiful plus they don’t open until 9am, so no mad dash for sunbeds at 6am! Our favourite moments have been the free wine tastings, the amazing Kids Club (the team are so professional) & the evening entertainment which is genuinely exceptional.

ℹ️ Good to Know
The beach has improved over the years but it’s still not Ikos’ strongest point - if your family loves long beach days, this might not be THE one. But for poolside luxury and easy family living, it’s unbeatable.

☀️ Cons
The beach is the only real downside, but the overall experience more than makes up for it.

💖 Final Word
It’s not the cheapest holiday, but the value is incredible. It’s five-star luxury without ever feeling stuffy… and every time we leave, we say the same thing: it’s the only place we come home from feeling like we’ve actually had a holiday.

As I edged closer to 40, I have spent the past year or so really pushing myself out of my comfort zone and honestly, it’s been amazing!

That said… it didn’t take too much persuading to paraglide off a mountain edge at the stunning Six Senses Zighy Bay in Oman 🪂 What. A. Way. To. Arrive. At. A. Hotel! Never seen anything like it!

What I’m really trying to say is, sometimes you just have to take that leap of faith (literally or not!) Do the things that scare you a little, because that’s where the growth happens! 💫

Disneyland Paris was honestly perfect for our family 💕

With a 2, 5, 6 & 8-year-old, we found so many rides we could all enjoy together 🎢 Peter Pan, Pirates of the Caribbean and It’s a Small World were our top faves - pure Disney magic ✨

Star Tours, Buzz lightyear and Toy Soldiers were a big hit for the older 2 as well!

✨ Luxe Stay Spotlight ✨

This week we’re heading to beautiful Sardinia, Italy 🇮🇹 to shine the spotlight on the world-renowned Forte Village Resort - a dream destination for families who love luxury, sport and sunshine.

This week’s review comes from one of my lovely clients who stayed with her family - here’s her honest take on their experience👇🏻

💫 First Impressions
Easy check-in and a very impressive mini model of the village under the floor at the entrance - such a clever touch to show where everything is!

💎 The Luxe Factor
The sports facilities!!!! I don’t think we’ve been anywhere that can compete with the options and standard of the sports clubs available.

🥂 Food & Drink
A really good mix, ranging from buffet to Michelin-star! The buffet was in a beautiful outdoor setting with amazing fresh food, including whole grilled fish on open flames.
There’s even a children-only restaurant open for lunch and dinner (with takeaway options too)!

🌟 Highlights
The Michelin-star restaurant was an absolute treat. The sports options were incredible, with such high-quality staff.
The evening football matches after dinner were a particular highlight for our 8-year-old and the kids loved the evening entertainment too!

ℹ️ Good to Know
Even though you don’t need to reserve restaurants before arrival, if you’ve got little ones and prefer early dining (or have your eye on specific restaurants), I’d recommend booking ahead.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Best For Families
Amazing sports options and a great kids’ club for younger ones including a Barbie Academy, which our 3-year-old adored!

☀️ Cons
We travelled with a toddler and there were limited highchairs, which also weren’t the best quality and noticed there weren’t kids’ cutlery or plates in the main restaurants. It’s definitely a more laid-back resort. The main pool area also closes between 1–3pm, which was a surprise at first but we soon adjusted.

💖 Final Word
We’ll definitely return, but probably once all our kids are over 4!

Disney with little ones…
magical and a bit chaotic!

Here are my top tips to make your trip smoother, calmer and full of real memories because Disney magic is 10x better when you’re not stressed 🤍

💫Stay at a Disney hotel if your budget allows - you’ll get extra “magic hours” before the park opens!

💫Download the Disneyland Paris app before you go - live queue times, parade times & even where to find your favourite characters!

💫Make your restaurant reservations BEFORE you go via the app.

💫Bring plenty of snacks and water - it saves money & meltdowns! Theres refill stations around the park.

💫Pack a rain poncho - trust me it won’t rain if you take one!

💫Get your parade spot early, about 30–40 minutes before. It’s worth it when you see their faces.

💫Buy all your Disney gear BEFORE you go. Minnie ears, bubble wands, autograph books..! Primark and H&M have amazing Disney clothes.

💫Plan your day so you know where you want to go and have structure so you don’t end up walking around aimlessly.

💫Queue entertainment for the kids is a must.

💫Wear sensible comfy shoes - you will most likely do at least 20,000 steps a day.

💫Pushchairs - if you have one, bring it. You can also hire them for €30 a day or join ‘Pass on a pushchair’ group on Facebook - people leave theirs for others to use for free! (Amazing)

💫Don’t buy the PhotoPass - this might be an unpopular opinion but I don’t think it’s worth it.

💫However, what is worth every penny is the Character Dining. You’ll meet a number of characters and it’s very special.

💫Book your park tickets in advance… I can help with that 😉
